Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills; bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Position Summary:

Premier Scaffold seeks a skilled Scaffold Safety Coordinator / Inspector with experience in maritime environments and knowledge of NAVSEA standard items. Key Responsibilities:

Additional Requirement:

Physical Requirements:

  • Assemble and disassemble scaffold components as required for storage, transportation, or maintenance purposes.
  • Assist in loading and unloading scaffold materials onto trucks for delivery to job sites.
  • Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and foremen to fulfill scaffold orders and meet project deadlines.
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of scaffold inventory, inspections, and maintenance activities using company systems or software.
  • Adhere to all relevant occupational health and safety regulations and company policies to minimize risks and promote a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a construction yard or similar environment preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of scaffold systems and components helpful but not required.
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely and effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical strength and stamina to lift and carry heavy scaffold materials and equipment.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to follow instructions and learn new skills on the job.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds or more).
  • Physical dexterity to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Employment Conditions:

Offers of employment are contingent upon passing a criminal background check and drug screening.

Hourly Rate:

  • $17.20-$22 per hour depending on experience.
