Position Overview:

The Scaffold Foreman will be crucial in managing the full spectrum of our scaffolding projects. This entails directing scaffold construction, upholding operational safety and efficiency, and leading a dedicated team of scaffolders. We are seeking candidates with extensive experience in scaffolding, proven leadership skills, and a staunch commitment to maintaining the utmost standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the assembly, modification, and disassembly of scaffolding structures.
• Lead and coordinate the scaffolding crew to ensure projects are completed within the stipulated time frame, budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Enforce rigorous safety protocols, conduct regular safety inspections, and ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Prepare and submit daily paperwork, including but not limited to time sheets, production reports, Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), and documentation of other significant events, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance.
• Deliver training and mentorship to team members, promoting a culture of safety consciousness and continuous professional development.
• Manage project logistics, such as the allocation of materials and scheduling of equipment, to optimize resources.
• Act as the primary liaison on-site for clients, project managers, and other key stakeholders, facilitating effective communication.
• Proactively resolve site-specific issues and challenges to minimize project disruptions.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in scaffolding with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of scaffolding systems, construction safety standards, and relevant regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management skills.
• Strong communication skills; bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Capability to climb, work at various heights, and navigate through scaffolding structures safely.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Endurance to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for prolonged periods.
• Preparedness to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions.

Position Summary:

Premier Scaffold seeks a skilled Scaffold Safety Coordinator / Inspector with experience in maritime environments and knowledge of NAVSEA standard items. This role is critical for enhancing safety measures, conducting rigorous inspections, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, including those necessary for work on U.S. Naval bases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily scaffold inspections to identify potential hazards on scaffolding at construction and maritime sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA, NAVSEA, and other relevant standards.

• Investigate safety incidents with an emphasis on preventive strategies for future compliance, particularly in maritime settings.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in safety management within the construction industry, with experience in maritime projects preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA is essential, and knowledge of NAVSEA safety standards preferred.
• Strong communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to perform thorough scaffold safety inspections.

Additional Requirement:

Must be able to pass a background check for access to U.S. Naval bases as part of our commitment to meeting security and safety standards on maritime projects.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to climb scaffolds, work at heights, and undertake significant walking across diverse job sites.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and fulfilling the physical demands of the construction/maritime environment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for travel to various project sites.

Hourly Rate:

• $24-$34 per hour depending on experience.

Position Overview:

As a scaffold laborer, you will work alongside a team of construction professionals to erect, dismantle, and maintain scaffolding structures on job sites. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient assembly and disassembly of scaffolds according to industry standards and company protocols. You will collaborate closely with supervisors, other laborers, and tradespeople to support the overall success of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the setup and takedown of scaffolding systems, following established safety guidelines and procedures.
• Handle scaffold components, such as frames, braces, platforms, and guardrails, with care and precision.
• Transport scaffold materials to and from work areas using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts.
• Work at heights, including climbing ladders and scaffolding structures, while adhering to safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Secure scaffolding components using fasteners, ties, or braces to ensure stability and structural integrity.
• Inspect scaffold equipment for damage or defects and report any issues to supervisors for maintenance or repair.

Position Overview:

As a Scaffold Journeyman, you will utilize your advanced knowledge and expertise to lead and execute the assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of scaffolding systems on construction sites. Working closely with supervisors and other team members, you will ensure that scaffolds are erected safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations and project specifications. Your role will involve mentoring and guiding scaffold laborers, as well as troubleshooting complex scaffold-related issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the setup and takedown of scaffolding systems, providing guidance to scaffold laborers and apprentices.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to plan scaffold layouts and configurations.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to schedule scaffold installations and adjustments according to project timelines.
• Inspect scaffold equipment and materials for quality, damage, or defects, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
